ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Brand Manager, youll lead a small team in taking the clients branding to a whole new level, helping the client establish their place as a leading law firm in Western Canada. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take charge and have a wide variety of responsibilities - every day will be different, keeping things interesting.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Brand Manager will report to the Director of Finance & Operations and will work closely with the CEO. This is a hybrid role.

• Collaborate with CEO to develop the vision and brand positioning.
• Foster brand strategy growth and maintain consistency across client interactions.
• Collaborate with practice groups to create group-specific business development and marketing strategies.
• Oversee digital and print advertising, social media, PR, rankings, and events.
• Lead and act as mentor to the marketing team.
• Manage the marketing and business development budget.
• Keep up to date on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and digital advancements.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and implement client feedback initiatives.
• Oversee firm events, conferences, sponsorships, and internal marketing lists.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years of marketing and/or business development experience in legal or professional services
• Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
• Wide variety of marketing skills - a generalist
• Excellent communications, written and verbal
• A leader, confident, likes to take initiative

COMPENSATION

• $85,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
• Unlimited vacation policy (averages 5 weeks annually!)
• Cell phone reimbursement
• Standard health/dental plan (up to 80% coverage)
• Tuition reimbursement (after 1 year tenure)
• Annual firm retreat
