Through innovative tactics and a team-oriented approach, the brand manager-Dermatology will play a pivotal role in marketing new treatment options. This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Marketing Manager-Dermatology.Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Developing and successfully implementing the commercial marketing plansxc2xb7 Developing, implementing and measuring tactics aligned to strategies identified in the brand planxc2xb7 Managing and strategically spending the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budgetxc2xb7 Communicating strategic goals, positioning, messaging and tactical plans to internal customers, field sales force and external agenciesxc2xb7 Analyzing market issues and opportunities and communicate findings to brand team and to senior management.xc2xb7 Planning and developing sales promotional materials and coordinating field team meetingsxc2xb7 Support the team for the planning and coordination of the national sales meetings and cycle meetings.xc2xb7 Ensure successful collaboration between agency of record and AbbVie internal partners (advertising, AbbVie Care, Patient relations).xc2xb7 Work collaboratively with external vendorsxc2xb7 Collaborate with International, Area & affiliate colleagues to optimize total dermatology portfolio performance now and in the futureQualificationsEducation/Experience required:xc2xb7 Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science or related field is required.xc2xb7 Relevant marketing experience with a proven track record within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry:o Marketing experience within a relevant therapeutic area is a strength (minimum two years).o Immunology and/or Dermatology experience preferredo Experience with digital/virtual programs deployment is an assetxc2xb7 Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timelines, targeting) and operating with execution excellence.Essential skills and abilities:xc2xb7 Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).xc2xb7 Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).xc2xb7 Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks).xc2xb7 Travel required approx. 25% of the time.xc2xb7 Valid driver's license and passport.Key leadership competencies:xc2xb7 Drive & communicate vision and strategy.xc2xb7 Excel in marketing by translating a very precise positioning into marketing tactics and sales force execution.xc2xb7 Collaborate and contribute to the brand team as an effective and genuine team player.xc2xb7 Prioritize decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the brand.xc2xb7 Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders; adapt key messages to the audience.xc2xb7 Drive and Manage Projects.xc2xb7 Propose new and innovative marketing solutions.Additional InformationAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and encourages women, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities to apply.AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives, serving our community and embracing diversity and inclusion.
