Through innovative tactics and a team-oriented approach, the Senior Brand Manager will play a pivotal role within the marketing team. This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Business Unit Manager, Oncology.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and successfully implement the annual cross-functional Integrated Brand plan.
  • Develop strategies to accelerate business performance based on market insights and identified challenges & opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and measure tactics aligned to strategies identified in the marketing plan.
  • Managing and strategically spending the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget.
  • Support in the monthly and annual financial processes.
  • Communicating strategic goals, positioning, messaging and tactical plans to internal customers, field sales force and external agencies.
  • Contribute to cross-functional brand team and working groups in order to optimize initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders including Global/Area business reviews.
  • Analyze market issues and opportunities and communicate findings to brand team and to senior management.
  • Support the Brand Team in the planning and coordination of the national sales meeting and cycle meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with external vendors.
QualificationsEducation/Experience required:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Commerce, Science or related field is required.
  • Relevant marketing experience with a proven track record within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry:
  • Marketing experience within a relevant therapeutic area is a strength (minimum four years).
  • Oncology experience preferred.
  • Experience with digital/virtual programs deployment is an asset.
  • Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timelines, targeting) and operating with execution excellence.
Essential skills and abilities:
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems to perform day-to-day tasks).
  • Travel required about 25% of the time.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and passport.

  • Drive & communicate vision and strategy.
  • Excel in marketing by translating a very precise positioning into marketing tactics and sales force execution.
  • Contribute to the brand team as an effective and genuine team player.
  • Prioritize decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the brand.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the different stakeholders; adapt key messages to the audience.
  • Drive and Manage Projects.
  • Propose new and innovative marketing solutions.
