Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Brand & Dealer Development Specialist to support the growth of key residential HVAC brands within our wholesale distribution network. This position can be based at any of our locations in Atlantic Canada.


The Brand & Dealer Development Specialist strengthens dealer relationships, promotes brand alignment, and drives product adoption across assigned territories. This role ensures our dealers have the tools, training, and programs needed to successfully represent Kerr's residential HVAC product offerings. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Vendor Partners, the successful candidate will enhance brand visibility, support dealer performance, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:



Build and maintain strong business relationships with residential HVAC dealers to support sales growth and brand representation. Conduct branch and dealer visits to assess needs, provide product support, and reinforce brand programs. Deliver product training, sales resources, and marketing support to branch teams and dealers. Assist in planning and executing dealer programs, promotions, and brand campaigns. Monitor dealer compliance with brand standards, merchandising requirements, and program expectations. Provide guidance on showroom branding, product placement, and merchandising strategies. Support new dealer onboarding, program enrollment, and ongoing engagement. Collaborate with outside sales to identify growth opportunities and support strategic accounts. Coordinate dealer participation in events, trade shows, and product training initiatives. Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback. Analyze program participation and performance metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

What you bring to the team:



5+ years of experience in HVAC, wholesale distribution, sales support, or dealer/channel development. Strong understanding of HVAC industry products, applications, and dealer business models. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory. Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
