Job Description

Branch Associate Responsibilities:



Monitor inventory levels at customer sites using VMI software and tools Coordinate and schedule deliveries with vendors and logistics teams Work with the team in shipping to expedite rush orders and provide delivery information to customers Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system data Answer customer, vendor, and outside sales representative's calls/emails Communicate with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to align inventory strategy with customer needs Identify and resolve inventory issues such as overstock, stockouts, or product obsolescence Utilizes an RF scanner for picking from zone locations to complete orders for customers Communicates daily progress to Warehouse Managers/Executive Management team Other warehouse duties as needed i.e., receiving, packing, picking, loading, and unloading trucks, etc. Reviews the driver manifest detailing products for transportation Inspects the safety conditions of the vehicle daily, including tires, lights, brakes, steering, etc. Records mileage, cargo information, hours of service, and daily fuel consumption Records accident and/or incident reports, trip reports, and bills of lading Delivers to regional and short-haul transportation routes, including city sites, manufacturing, and Weber Supply transfer locations Exhibits effective interpersonal skills including flexibility, cooperation as a team, oral & written communication, reliability, and organization Perform all reasonable directions given to you by the Company, including but not limited to all warehouse duties, deliveries, VMI duties, customer service duties, and any other requirement requested of you, from time to time, in support of the branch operations.

Qualifications:



High School diploma/GED Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and inventory management software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills WHMIS and Safe Lifting knowledge are preferred Valid Class 5 License (Saskatchewan) Clean Driver's Abstract

Preferred:



1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chains, or logistics Experience with Vendor Management Inventory systems or programs Knowledge of ERP systems and demand forecasting tools Forklift experience is an asset Familiarity with warehouse and distribution operations Capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately

Working Conditions:



Will involve travel to customer sites or distribution centers Experience with online order systems Willing and capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately Cellular phone provided for all routes Occasionally lift/move objects that range from 10-50 lbs * Frequently sitting, standing, walking, crouching, bending, and frequently climbing, carrying, pushing, and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly
