We are seeking a skilled Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating brake machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components that meet strict specifications. The Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Operate brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate bending processes. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and components as needed. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment Is preferred but willing to train. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with CNC machinery is preferred. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
