As we expand, we're looking for a

Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant

to join our growing business. If you're organized, analytical with a high attention to detail, and excited by real estate finance, this role could be your perfect next step.

What You'll Be Doing



You'll play a vital role in maintaining the financial backbone of our operations. Your work will help ensure our books are accurate and our systems run smoothly. You'll also have opportunities to improve processes and explore automation tools to create more efficient workflows.

Responsibilities include:



Managing full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of real estate holding companies, as well as the parent company (DBAS Realco Inc.) Handling invoice workflows using SharePoint and tools like Dext (or other systems you recommend) Initiating e-transfers, wires, and account transfers Tracking and submitting HST and corporate tax installment payments Reconciling bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis Managing payroll disbursements and statutory withholdings Coordinating mortgage documentation, bank statements, and preparing financial reports for review Liaising with external accountants during year-end reviews Reviewing third-party property management statements and entering data for internal tracking and monthly reconciliation Supporting internal reporting processes across the full asset management cycle

What We're Looking For



2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally with exposure to real estate or asset-heavy businesses Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, especially when working with multiple entities A curious mindset with an interest in improving systems and automating tasks Familiarity with tools like Dext, SharePoint, and online banking platforms An ability to self-manage, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a remote work setting Bonus: Experience preparing books for external financial reviews or audits

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
