Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with various accounting software platforms and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Prior experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, is required. The position is hybrid, and provides a collaborative environment where your skills in bookkeeping and account reconciliation will be valued.

Duties



Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Maintain and update financial records using accounting software QuickBooks Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements Prepare financial reports, including budgets and forecasts, for management review Support month-end and year-end closing procedures Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications



Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with familiarity using accounting software like QuickBooks Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis Knowledge of payroll processing and related tax regulations is required Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
