manage our daily financial operations

and assist with administrative duties.

What You'll Do



Accounting & Financial Management



Full-cycle

bookkeeping

(A/R, A/P, reconciliations)

Payroll processing

, including ROEs & T4s Manage

employee group benefits plan

Government remittances

(Corp Tax, GST, PST, Source Deductions, WCB, EHT) Currency exchange and credit card reconciliations

Year-end preparation

for accountants (including final journal entries) Handle

business insurance policy renewals


Administrative & Office Support



Oversee

A/P duties

and provide support as needed Assist with

quoting and processing equipment orders

Act as

backup reception and provide holiday relief

Maintain office supplies, subscriptions, and membership renewals Help coordinate

company events, lunches, and tradeshows


Shipping & Customs



Prepare and facilitate

customs documents for equipment orders

Work with

Custom Brokers

to ensure compliance Assist in planning and coordinating

equipment shipments


Additional Responsibilities



Maintain patent renewal schedules

(for patents not managed by our legal team)

Report and track apprenticeship hours

for Skilled Trades BC Help organize

tradeshows

, including booking booths, handling documentation, and coordinating shipping

What We're Looking For



5+ years

of bookkeeping/accounting experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks

(or similar accounting software) Strong knowledge of

payroll processing, government remittances, and year-end financials

Detail-oriented, highly organized

, and capable of managing multiple tasks

An individual who has an eye for continuous improvement

Experience with

customs, shipping documentation, and inventory tracking

is an asset Strong communication skills and the ability to

work independently

Familiarity with

Odoo (or any ERP system/environment),

Trello or other project management tools

is a plus and would be considered an asset. Previous experience in

manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry

is an asset
