Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator Part Time, Temporary

Job Description

Liquid Feeds Inc. is a small, locally owned and operated business serving livestock producers across Southern Ontario with a focus on enhancing ruminant health and nutrition.

We're a team oriented workplace looking for a highly organized Office Administrator with a minimum of 2-3 years of Bookkeeping or Accounting experience who can confidently manage core financial and operational admin tasks with minimal supervision. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks desktop and Excel is required.

Position Details



Hours:

20-25 hours per week, we offer flexible scheduling during business hours

Contact Terms:

Temporary 3-6 month contract, with potential for permanent placement based on mutual fit and business needs

Location

: Work is to be completed at our shop outside Innerkip, ON. (own transportation is required as there is no public transport)

Compensation:

Hourly wage range between $24-$27 based on experience

Core Responsibilities



Accounts Receivable & Payable Using Quickbooks (desktop)



Create and process customer invoices Receive and record customer payments Enter vendor invoices and employee credit card receipts Create and execute Canadian and US vendor payments via cheque, e-transfer and ACH/EFT

Advance Bookkeeping and Financial Oversight



Month end journal entries and adjustments Monthly bank, and credit card reconciliations Support management and assist with maintaining and reviewing the general ledger for accuracy and completeness

Payroll & Compliance



Submit semi-monthly payroll through ADP (salaried and hourly employees) Calculate and file quarterly HST and WSIB Fleet administration including licensing renewals, adhering to safety and compliance deadlines

Office Operations



Order office supplies and manage vendors (internet, shredding, courier, etc.) Maintain office equipment, phones, and basic IT coordination Retrieve and deliver mail to the local post office Creation and maintenance of in office filing systems and records

Trade Shows & Events



Handle registrations, payments, and required paperwork Coordinate logistics and promotional materials with sales team
