Job Title: Bookkeeper/Office Administrator
Pay Range: 20.00 to 25.00 per hour

This Agency is a leading talent agency in the fashion and beauty industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time bookkeeper and office administrator to assist with managing our company's financial records, payroll, benefits administration, employee time-off tracking, and day-to-day office operations. This is an independent contractor role, meaning you will be responsible for invoicing your hours on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping, office administration, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Track and manage invoices and ensure that all incoming and outgoing invoices are properly recorded and applied to the appropriate accounts.
Keep accurate records of payments made and applied to the correct accounts.
Follow up on overdue invoices and work to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
Review and manage invoices weekly, ensuring all outstanding invoices are addressed, and payments are made on time.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audit purposes and company reporting.
Collect, review, and submit payroll information accurately and on time
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee updates
Track employee vacation, sick, and personal days and maintain accurate records
Maintain organized administrative and financial documentation
Support general office operations as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, office administrator, or in a similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software and tools (QuickBooks, etc), however ours is a customized system.
Comfortable working with payroll and benefit systems and basic accounting tools
Excellent communication skills. You must communicate effectively with clients, vendors, independent artists and internal team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills. You must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Comfortable with invoicing and tracking hours as an independent contractor.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Ability to work on-site at least 2 times per week
