Background: Our company manufactures specialized electronic products for Medical, Industrial and Commercial customers. We require one full time employee to work as a Book Keeper in our administration department. The position is available immediately. Duties: The Book Keeper will be required to carry out the following duties;
Carry out work according to our company procedures
Report to our Controller and Assistant Controller.
Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
Review time sheets in our ERP system
Check and post invoices
Review accounts payable, issue cheques
Answer queries from suppliers and prepare reconciliation of supplier\xe2\x80\x99s SOA.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations of USD & CAD accounts.
Prepare Monthly Summary and Journal entry for job Machine use.
Prepare Monthly Job Time analysis against budget.
Prepare profit and loss statements for all completed jobs
Check credit availability for incoming orders
Enter Sales Orders for PO\xe2\x80\x99s received from customers and send PO confirmation to customers
Prepare summary for warranty work and make appropriate ledger entries
Enter payments received from clients.
Prepare monthly receivable insurance reports
Prepare monthly inventory reports for WIP & Finished Goods
Purchase and manage office supplies
Prepare Monthly Cash Flow Statement
Carry out daily, monthly and year end accounting and bookkeeping functions and maintain accounting hardcopy files and documents
Create and check biweekly invoices to clients
Carry out any other tasks required by our Administration department
Participate in our 5S lean manufacturing activities
Keep office and accounting resources clean tidy and properly organized
Qualifications This is an entry level position. We intend to train the successful applicant to carry out the tasks listed above. The applicant must have the following qualifications;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
A community college diploma in a related discipline.
