We provide assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services to a diverse group of clients consisting of companies in the professional services industries, Real-estate development, construction and a variety of other small and medium privately-owned and owner-operated businesses. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service that exceeds client expectations. We are conveniently located in the growing city of Surrey, BC.We have an opening for a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a minimum of 2 years Bookkeeping experience. Reporting to the Partners and Manager, you will be working collaboratively with a dedicated team of accounting and administrative professionals. This role can lead to partnership in the firm for a right candidate in future.responsibilities include:

  • Day to day bookkeeping and record keeping for all purchases and payables (including paying vendors as needed) and revenue and receivables, ensuring that accounting principles are followed consistent with organizational policies
  • Project Accounting.
  • Full Cycle Bookkeeping
  • Reconciliation of bank and credit accounts on a monthly basis
  • Preparing financial reports for management as needed
  • Filing sales tax returns and researching sales tax issues as they arise
  • Recording payroll transactions in accounting system
  • Filing payroll returns and reconciling payroll records to accounting records
  • Track expenses, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company
  • Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
  • Government remittances - GST, PST, WCB etc.
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Effectively communicate to clients
