Windsor based company celebrating 45 years in business is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing weekly payroll, compliance with Government filings and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working with Spire financial software.
Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transactions and balances
Prepare and analyze financial reports
Process payroll accurately and on time
Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval and audit purposes
Qualifications
Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles
Experience with accounting software
Strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance requirements
Ability to perform account analysis and prepare detailed reports
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong analytical skills for effective budgeting and financial planning
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
