About Us


Feil & Co. Chartered Professional Accountants is a small public practice accounting firm located in Victoria. We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join our team and help with office administration, reception and client bookkeeping.

Position Overview


The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience and be comfortable supporting reception and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and office staff

Key Responsibilities



Bookkeeping Duties:



Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end reporting Support payroll preparation and submission Collaborate with management to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency

Administrative & Reception Duties:



Answer and route phone calls and emails in a professional manner Schedule and coordinate client appointments Communicate with clients and CRA Process credit card payments and issue receipts Maintain organized office systems & files Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online required) Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience in service-based business is an asset

Job Details



Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Extended health benefits after probationary period Starting wage:

$

24-$30 per hour, depending on experience
