Job Description

Village Vitamin Store is Canada's growing chain of Health, Vitamin and Supplements, Wellness and Beauty Products Retail centers in GTA. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, to work in a fast-paced working environment. The successful candidate must be a positive and result-motivated individual and and be able to work as part of a team. The role involves direct and proactive administrative contact, accurate inputting and verification of accounting data and handling of vendor questions and follow-up. The candidate will be working closely with the administration and members of the operations as well as managers at the store level . Bookkeeping experience is required and strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft 365 is a must and with proven skills on organization, prioritization, attention to details and wants to join and contribute to company with opportunity for growth.

Job Responsibilities:



- Data entry, journal entries and posting of transactions.

- Handles payroll using QuickBooks

- Handles Accounts payable (from invoice entry to cutting of A/P cheques)

- Reconciliations (Bank and Credit Cards Statements)

-Other Duties that may be assigned from time to time.

- Training will be provided .

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
