About the Role:

IBT College is seeking a detail-oriented and organized

Bookkeeper

to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing full-cycle accounting tasks, supporting payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accounts receivable and payable. Process invoices, track payments, and assist with student refunds. Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accurate financial statements. Post expenses accurately to the general ledger and prepare payroll liability journal entries. Assist with GST/HST filing and year-end audits. Utilize accounting software such as

QuickBooks Online

to categorize and match transactions. Support financial reporting and maintain accurate documentation for all transactions. Investigate payment discrepancies, including insurance broker or student payment issues. Collaborate with colleagues on IBT and related companies, purchase orders, and financial inquiries.

Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and payroll systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
