We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Body Shop Manager

to lead our automotive repair and restoration team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, exceptional technical expertise, and a deep understanding of modern auto body repair processes. This role is an exciting opportunity to oversee daily shop operations, elevate workflow efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a solid background in dealership or automotive repair settings and be fully proficient with the tools, equipment, and techniques essential for professional auto body work.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day operations of the body shop, including workflow planning, scheduling, and optimal resource allocation Supervise and coordinate technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and timely repair completion Oversee comprehensive body repair processes such as precision auto painting, auto glass replacement, detailing, refinishing, and full auto restoration Ensure all work meets strict safety guidelines, industry regulations, and internal quality control procedures Maintain and track inventory of tools, materials, parts, and supplies required for daily operations Collaborate with insurance adjusters, customers, and vendors to streamline communication and ensure smooth repair progress Conduct ongoing training sessions to keep the team updated on advanced repair methods, new technology, and workplace safety standards Perform hands-on repairs when necessary, using professional hand tools, power tools, and equipment requiring moderate to heavy lifting Monitor job progress, perform quality checks, and provide technical coaching and guidance to team members

Qualifications



Proven experience in a dealership or established automotive repair environment, with a strong foundation in auto body repair and mechanic work Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance, refinishing, auto painting, auto glass installation, and detailing procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and heavy lifting tools used in auto body operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and support a diverse team Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in restoration and automotive repair processes Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, customers, insurance companies, and vendors Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superior quality and safety standards Prior experience managing a body shop or similar automotive facility is highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
