Centennial Carstar Summerside is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Body Shop Coordinator/Administrator!
NOW HIRING: Body Shop Coordinator/Administrator LOCATION: Carstar Summerside, Summerside, PEI HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. WAGES: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour + commission incentives and benefits (negotiable based on experience)

• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English and accurate spelling, with proficiency in phone communication and document interpretation.
• Proficient in computer skills, with proficient typing speeds, and a willingness to learn new database management software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, mathematical proficiency, and excellent memorization skills are essential.
• Must be reliable and show initiative.
• Exhibits patience and maintains a calm demeanor, especially in challenging situations.
• Presents a professional personal appearance.
• Possesses a valid drivers license.
• Prior experience in customer service or body shop operations is an asset.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a friendly and professional welcome in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Efficiently manage incoming phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing messages to the appropriate staff members.
• Create, maintain and update files, ensuring all documentation is organized and easily accessible.
• Properly documenting damages on clients vehicles.
• Facilitate communication between the body shop, insurance companies, and clients, providing updates on repair progress, coordinating approvals, and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct regular audits of files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, generating reports, and coordinating appointments and deliveries.
