Location: Camrose Alberta (Hybrid/Remote options available)

The Open Doors, a non-profit organization serving East Central Alberta since 1998, is looking for passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. Help us provide hope and holistic support to youth, adults, and families in need through our innovative wraparound approach.

About The Open Doors

We empower vulnerable youth, adults, and families by offering personalized, wraparound care and support. Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding our mission and ensuring effective, ethical governance.

What You'll Do

Provide strategic leadership to advance our mission Shape organizational policies and ensure financial sustainability Support fundraising and community engagement initiatives Participate in monthly board meetings and committee work

What We're Looking For

Required:

Passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and families Willingness to learn about wraparound services Strong communication and leadership skills Commitment to ethical integrity and teamwork

Preferred:

Experience in non-profit management, governance, youth services, social work, mental health, finance, law, community engagement, or fundraising

Time Commitment

Two-year renewable term Monthly board meetings (virtual/in-person) Committee participation as needed Attendance at community events and fundraisers
