Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Asic and Whatsminer devices
- Perform software updates and installations
- Replace damaged parts and components
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functionality
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory

Role Description



This is a full-time on-site role based in Edmonton, AB for a Bitcoin Miner Repair Technician. As a Bitcoin Miner Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Bitcoin miners and equipment. You will work closely with our team to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and will be required to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with miners.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out detailed diagnosis, repair, and testing of defective ASIC devices. Implement corrective actions and solutions based on test results and analysis. Understand and execute chip level failure analysis to identify the root cause of failures. Communicate technical findings and corrective actions in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. Document repair processes and create reports to improve troubleshooting procedures. Continually seek to improve the performance and functionality of existing systems. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications



Experience with Bitcoin miner repair and maintenance required Current generation Bitmain and/or Whatsminer repair experience is a plus. Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues Ability to work well independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems down to the component level. Ability to lift heavy equipment High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders Proficiency in using various test and repair equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Excellent technical documentation skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Good verbal and written communication skills.
