Position Summary
The Epigenomics Lab at Princess Margaret Genomics Centre is dedicated to understanding the epigenetic mechanisms that underlie cancer progression and treatment response. We are seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics/Data Science Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s duties will include a variety of epigenomic/genomic computational analysis necessary for this project. The bioinformatician will have an integral role in our research team, focusing on the analysis of epigenomics data to advance our understanding of cancer biology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, with specific expertise in the analysis of epigenomic assays such as 3D genome architecture (Hi-C), CUT&RUN, and ATAC-seq. Proficiency in Python and R programming is essential for this role.
