WSP is currently seeking a BIM Modeler to join our dynamic Structural Modeling team,


located at our Toronto or Thornhill office

WSP is currently seeking a BIM Modeler to join our dynamic Structural Modeling team,


located at our Toronto or Thornhill office. Reporting to the BIM Manager the successful candidate


will be working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, requiring full project engagement in


modeling innovative design solutions from inception through to construction.




What you will do at WSP







Develop and model building elements using Revit software Be able to accept ownership of specific tasks within a team environment Coordinate with other project disciplines Support established BIM standards and modeling best practices Advanced knowledge in creation and maintenance of Revit families Passion for BIM with ability to Promote these technologies and practices to improve production
efficiency and effectiveness


Attend internal and external project meetings Increase technical and project knowledge by identifying and proactively participating in training What you bring to WSP





3-6 years working experience and education background in Revit and MicroStation Experience in construction and / or consulting services Excellent practical knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) In-depth experience modeling with Revit for a medium to large sized structural engineering firm In-depth knowledge of Revit families and templates Understanding value of Dynamo scripting Promote and support practices that improve production efficiency and effectiveness Have knowledge of interoperability of BIM modeling and design tools Creative at problem solving Customer Service oriented with commitment to working within a team environment Superior interpersonal skills Able to communicate clearly and effectively Strong, self-motivated work ethic with ability to be effective and timely while providing
consistent follow up


Organized and methodical with a capacity for resolving challenges Strong commitment to producing quality deliverables and meeting deadline
