Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bim Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) that support construction and design projects across various disciplines. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of construction schematics, drafting, and 3D modeling. The Bim Modeler will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and efficient BIM models that enhance project visualization, coordination, and execution.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models using software such as Revit, NavisWorks, SketchUp, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Translate 2D schematics and drafting drawings into precise 3D models aligned with project specifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure models meet design intent and construction requirements. Integrate civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical components into unified BIM environments. Conduct clash detection and coordinate model revisions to resolve conflicts before construction begins. Assist in creating visualizations, walkthroughs, and 2D animations for project presentations. Ensure all modeling work adheres to industry standards, project deadlines, and quality expectations. Support field teams with model-based information during construction phases.

Requirements

Proven experience with CAD software including Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SketchUp, SolidWorks, and 2D animation tools. Strong understanding of schematics, drafting principles, and construction processes. Familiarity with BIM workflows across multiple disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in modeling tasks. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related engineering environment is preferred. Knowledge of construction standards and best practices for BIM modeling is highly desirable. Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
