WSP is currently seeking a BIM Manager to join our Buildings M & E - Transportation Department, located at our office in Markham. Reporting to the Buildings - M & E - Transportation Director. This position will be responsible to take a leadership role of an established Mechanical & Electrical BIM / Revit 3D Modelers group.

A day in the life:

• Manage a well stablished mechanical and electrical AutoCAD & MicroStation designers, and BIM Revit 3D Modelers with technical, financial, resourcing and design quality;
• Hands on manager with deep technical involvement with project setup, design, calculation and implementation from proposal to construction;
• Manage and deliver complex Transportation BIM/Revit projects;
• Deep involvement with proposals and pursuits, technical leadership, financial & technical project management, assisting the ORG Lead with business development, and team performance review;
• Build, lead, and manage multidisciplinary teams for large projects and / or tasks to provide 3D modeling services to mechanical, electrical engineering, and lighting departments
• Lead, develop and empower a diverse group of professionals and technical support staff;
• Cooperate with ORG's Discipline Leads including Mechanical, Electrical, and Lighting Managers;
• Other duties as assigned/required by the ORG Lead.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

• 20+ years of experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM360, Revit 3D, and Navisworks software in Buildings projects including but not limited to Transportation, Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, Hospitality, etc. projects.
• Minimum a Technician or Technologist degree (OACETT/CET/CIT) in engineering or architectural fields;
• Ample of experience with different type of projects including but not limited to Design Bid Build (DBB), Design Build (DB/F/M/O), P3, and Alliance Delivery in Transportation projects.
• Minimum 5+ years of managing and mentoring technical staff, with very strong financial background;
• Complete familiarity with Buildings Mechanical and Electrical Engineering including but not limited to: heating, cooling, ventilation (HVAC), Sanitary, Storm, Potable Water, Natural Gas, Fire Protection and Suppression Systems (FPS & FSS), Building Automation System (BAS), Low voltage power distribution, Grounding, communication, Lighting, Lightening, M&E Schedules, Fire Alarm System, Public Annunciation (PA), and electrical schematic and flow diagrams;
• Fair and unbiased leadership, strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and teamwork skills to deal with internal and external clients, other disciplines and M&E senior, intermediate, junior engineers and PM's
• Previous success in customer service, client management and proposal/report writing;
• Strong knowledge of major Transportation clients such as TTC, GO Mx, VIA, CN, CP, VIVA, Regional Transit Agencies, GTAA, etc.
• Complete familiarity with Transportation and DB projects requirement such as DRM, PA, PSOS, OSOR, etc.
• Deep knowledge of Project Management, including but not limited to FP&A, budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, billing, AR, PSR, UR, DLM, etc.;
