THE JOB
The Senior BIM/AutoCAD Technologist is responsible for overseeing the CAD and BIM standards in the office, working in the Studio to create working drawings; with the help of the BIM Manager and Senior Interior Designers, they also proactively train and guide the drafting skills in the Studio.

WHAT\'S REQUIRED

• An architectural technologist diploma, Bachelor in Architecture, Bachelor of Applied Arts; qualifications as a drafting technologist with some knowledge of interior design
• 7+ years Canadian years of work experience; 4 years (Intermediate to advanced) REVIT experience;
• Experience working on condo or hospitality projects, working alongside Team Leads to establish SOW; projects involving high levels of detailing (ideal candidate has Level 400 Level of Detail Experience in an architectural firm or design firm)
• Ability to create schematic drawings; assembly drawings detailing fit between components
• with help of BIM Manager ensures standards maintained for Revit architectural models
• Working knowledge of OBC
• Illustrate precise dimensions, relationships and materials needed to realize complex projects, showing surface and cross sections; incorporating input from outside consultants
• Support for plotting and electronic file submission
• Contract administration: respond to RFIs, shop drawing review; review contract documentation
• Conducts site walk-throughs, prepares addendums and supplementary instructions
• Interior design experience is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
