Bayshore Specialty RX is looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our Patient Support Services (PSS) Program Billing & Analytics Team. The Billing Coordinator, under the direction of the Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Program Billing & Analytics, completes monthly billing, reconciliation, data management and verification activities as required by the Bayshore Specialty Rx. Maintaining data integrity while finalizing and validating all billing data in accordance with contractual obligations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Participation in various billing digitalization and transformation projects including but not limited to automation, reconciliation, validation, and analytics of Bayshore\xe2\x80\x99s PSS.
Participate in duties including the reconciliation of billing, data entry, filing, and obtaining/organizing supporting documentation including preparation of reports and spreadsheets as needed, and ensuring monthly timelines and targets are met.
Leverage the maintenance of all tools and processes utilized in monthly month-end activities.
Ensure deadlines are met for all reporting commitments.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Generate and submit invoice drafts and support back-up to Reviewers/Approvers and make revisions as required.
Validate and prepare billing files in numerous forms, including input and processing in keeping with the systems and processes used by PSS; prepare data and maintenance of Billing processes established by the Program Billing & Analytics and Finance Teams.
Managing multiple payer and complex billing rules.
Update and manage process documentation of the Program Billing & Analytics Team.
Participate in the planning and execution of Specialty Services billing and analytics projects, month-end activities, as well as the maintenance of the PSS Billing Control Environment.
Resolution of billing queries and questions from clients and stakeholders including but not limited to the coordination of all program billing activities between PSS programs, Finance and the various internal teams when required.
Brings to the attention of the Senior Manager any requests that do not comply with PSS billing policy and resolves them with the assistance of Team members.
Coordination and tracking of all Program Billing & Analytics activities with a focus on AGILE methodologies.
Complete other tasks as requested.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.

Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management System
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any health and safety risks or concerns.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

University Degree relevant to the role (Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excel knowledge preferred; PIVOT, Functions: Lookups, IF statements, Pivot Charts, Concatenate
Ability to work in a very busy and high paced environment.
Ability to adapt to change quickly. Especially the potential shifting of projects and tasks based on reprioritization.
Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query and Power Pivot an asset
Data mining and in-depth knowledge of Data Science techniques is an asset.
Understanding and Manipulation of Billing Data Sets and Financial Information Systems
Knowledge of techniques and methods of working with large datasets
