Billing Coordinator (contract)

Job Description




ROLE

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer move in and move out activity. This position will ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. The Billing Coordinator ensures all goals, objectives, and agreed upon levels of service are met in order to support team success.

This is a 6-month contract position with an opportunity for a full-time permanent role after the successful completion of the contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Process Move In/Out Service Orders
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate in a timely manner all issues and/ or disputes to the appropriate people- (Billing Senior or Billing Analyst)
  • Use internal systems to appropriately record in a clear and concise manner all customer service activities / comments and contact information on customers account
  • Ensure all Provident policies and procedures are followed
  • Other tasks as assigned to support team goals

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum education of a secondary school diploma
  • A minimum of two (1) year of work experience for a utility provider (preferred)
  • A minimum of two (1) year of work experience in Customer Service
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Work must be completed with high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Self-motivated, well organized and the ability to learn quickly and work autonomously
  • Energetic team player
  • Home-based office requirements include high-speed internet connection and suitable workspace for frequent use during our Telework Program in effect due to COVID-19.


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office environment with frequent sitting at a desk.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
