Role Overview



Reporting to the Billing Team Lead, you will play a key role in assisting with managing physician billing for all Rejuvenation clinics. This role is responsible for auditing all billing before it is submitted to the ministry, and ensuring billing is submitted in a timely and efficient manner. This role will support Clinics in Alberta, BC and Ontario.



This role will be based full-time out of our Calgary or Edmonton offices.



Role Objectives



The Billing Audit Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



• Assisting with managing physician billing for all Rejuvenation clinics
• Auditing all billing before submitting to ministry
• Ensuring billings are submitted in a timely manner
• Assist physicians and medical teams to improve billing practices
• Assisting with audit requests from various governing bodies
• Ensure all processes comply with existing internal controls
• Filing and scanning documentation
• Verifying daily close outs are accurate
• Assisting with generating billing reports
• Occasional travel may be required between clinics
• Other duties as required by the Billing Team Lead and Director of Finance


Role Qualifications



• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient In Alberta billing requirements
• Understanding of billing requirements in Ontario and BC is an asset
• Experience with Telus Med Access EMR an asset
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience using online banking
• Completion of medical billing courses or certificates is an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
