The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and maintenance of their assigned block of business and assisting team members, keeping current and consistent with specific quality standards.What you will do:

  • Prepare monthly billing statements using Microsoft Excel and the GIPA Billing System (GBS)
  • Handling daily inquiries from Clients, Group Sales office and other Canada Life departments.
  • Allocate and code payments accurately on Policy Administration System (PAS) and Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
  • Handle all Group Client arrears.
  • Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments, which have a direct impact on the client bill
  • Calculate retroactive fees and taxes
  • Prepare policy year-end refund audits within the service target date

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines, fluctuating workloads, and changing priorities
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • High attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Well-developed analytical/problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed skills using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Group Insurance products and TOCS system would be considered an asset
  • Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
  • You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs
  • Bilingual fluency (English & French) would be considered an asset
