We are currently hiring a
Bilingual Workers Compensation Consultant
to join our team in Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or remote working arrangements.
This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.
Gerer de maniere complete les dossiers d'indemnisation des travailleurs dans plusieurs provinces.
Deposer de nouvelles reclamations dans les delais provinciaux requis et assurer la conformite avec la legislation applicable.
Examiner et evaluer les decisions d'admissibilite ; contester ou faire appel des decisions lorsque cela est approprie pour proteger les interets de l'employeur.
Collaborer avec les employes blesses, les employeurs et les gestionnaires de dossiers afin de developper des programmes de retour au travail et de travail modifie surs et efficaces.
Suivre l'evolution des dossiers et maintenir une documentation detaillee pour garantir une resolution en temps opportun.
Fournir des conseils strategiques aux employeurs sur les strategies de reduction des primes et le controle des couts des reclamations.
Etablir de solides relations avec les comites d'indemnisation des travailleurs, les prestataires medicaux et les partenaires internes afin de favoriser des resultats justes et efficaces
Responsibilities (English)
Manage end-to-end workers' compensation claims across multiple provinces.
File new claims within required provincial deadlines and maintain compliance with applicable legislation.
Review and assess entitlement decisions; challenge or appeal determinations when appropriate to protect employer interests.
Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and case managers to develop safe and effective return-to-work and modified duty programs.
Monitor case progress and maintain detailed documentation to ensure timely resolution.
Provide strategic advice to employers on premium reduction strategies and claims cost control.
Build strong relationships with workers' compensation boards, medical providers, and internal partners to facilitate fair and efficient outcomes.
Diplome postsecondaire en assurance, ressources humaines ou sante et securite au travail (ou experience equivalente).
Plus de 2 ans d'experience dans la gestion ou l'adjudication de reclamations d'indemnisation des travailleurs (une experience multi-provinciale est preferable).
Solide connaissance des processus et de la legislation de la WSIB, de la WCB et de la CNESST.
Excellentes competences en communication, negociation et analyse.
Capacite demontree a gerer les delais et a prioriser dans un environnement rapide et exigeant.
Maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des systemes de gestion des reclamations.
Qualifications (English)
Post-secondary education in Insurance, Human Resources, or Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience managing or adjudicating workers' compensation claims (multi-province experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of WSIB, WCB, and CNESST processes and legislation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
