Bilingual Associate, Medical Information (1 Year Contract)
The successful candidate is required to be fully bilingual in English and French
Location: Remote Work or Hybrid or work from our Mississauga office
Reports to: Senior Manager, Medical Information

What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will answer and triage incoming inquiries to Amgen Medical Information.

Responsibilities

Provides medical information responses for routine inquiries with high quality customer service and documents according to internal guidelines

Identifies and reports adverse events and product complaints within one business day

Processes medical information requests (e.g. fulfillment) via email, fax, and postal mail as per internal guidelines

Provides after-hours on call support as needed via department cell phone, this will rotate amongst the team

Supports Medical Information Managers with literature searches

Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures including product knowledge, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
OR
College diploma and 4 years of pharmaceutical related experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of pharmaceutical related experience

Bilingualism in English and French- comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing

Must be able to work 9am-5pm Eastern Time

Preferred Qualifications

MSc, PhD, PharmD

Experience in Medical or Drug Information

Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

Ability to balance multiple tasks

Demonstrated time management skills

Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed

Practical experience in patient care

Outstanding computer and keyboarding skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
