What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

Reporting to the Edvantage Services Manager, the successful candidate creates, supports and manages B2B and B2C marketing content for the Edvantage Perks program. The individual assists with the development and implementation of the annual, multi-channel marketing plan and other projects. The role involves assisting the Edvantage Program Manager and VP of Marketing & Sales in the development and execution of marketing strategies, engaging key stakeholders, external partners, supporting change and helping achieve goals through effective content and optimized customer experience.

The core parts of your role will be to:
  • Manage all customer-facing content in promotional channels including website (edvantage.ca), promotional emails and social media to meet engagement objectives and revenue targets as per the business plan.
  • Develop and execute a content marketing plan/calendar supporting all promotional channels.
  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube); create content and set monthly budget for organic, paid and ad campaigns.) Build audiences, track results and recommend changes to optimize results and efficiencies.
  • Create and deploy promotional emails promoting partner brands and their perks to our customers using SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Work directly with brand partners to create and maintain their brand landing pages (Kentico) in English and French.
  • Collaborate with Edvantage Perks program brand partners (e.g. VIA Rail, GoodLife Fitness, Columbia Sportswear, SoftMoc, etc.) and internal teams (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Translation) to fulfill partner paid advertising requests.
  • Assist with the creation of campaign tracking and the communication of results to internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend additional promotional opportunities throughout OTIP and Orbit customer-facing properties to Manager. Once approved, plan and execute on them, collaborating with appropriate internal OTIP and Orbit teams (eg, Marketing, Communications, Digital, etc.).
  • Develop campaigns within allocated Marketing & Edvantage program budgets.
  • Create content testing plans to optimize performance of all channels and integrate insights and findings.
  • Collaborate with OTIP & Orbit SEM/SEO specialists to provide quality content that is optimized for search engines.
  • Assist in marketing projects, representing Edvantage marketing expertise while applying project management discipline as required to achieve successful implementation and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment with business needs while helping achieve business results.
  • Support improved CX for Edvantage program members for OTIP and Orbit Insurance Services.
  • Ensures Partner Advertising Rate card is updated bi-annually.
  • Identifies and integrates emerging and alternative acquisition channels aimed at improving acquisition effectiveness.
Qualifications

  • A university degree in business, marketing or a related area of study.
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a marketing related role.
  • Good understanding of brand management.
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Knowledge and use of ethical marketing best practices and associated regulations.
  • Experience with creative briefs, the creative process and ability to stay on-time and on-budget.
  • Experience creating and executing successful multi-channel campaigns - direct response marketing, e-mail marketing, online marketing and event marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in research and benchmarking techniques and understanding data.
  • Experience with Perks / Affinity programs is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the SalesForce Marketing Cloud or other CRM, Kentico platform, social media publishing platform and other marketing tools is considered an asset.
