We are seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Marketing & Communications for our client, a leading provider in the health benefits management industry. This role will oversee corporate marketing and communications programs to strengthen brand positioning, engage stakeholders, and establish the organization as a recognized thought leader in its sector. Key Responsibilities
External Communications

• Work with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to develop strategic marketing and communication programs.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership teams in Canada and the US to identify and drive initiatives positioning the company as an industry innovator.
• Develop and execute strategies for digital and social media to enhance employee engagement, leadership messaging, and brand presence.
• Lead the creation and implementation of marketing and communications strategies for advertising, branding, events, government relations, media relations, and public speaking opportunities.
• Support and serve as a backup contact for Canadian media relations.
• Oversee the departmental budget and produce monthly forecasts.

Marketing Communications & Programs

• Manage corporate and brand communication efforts, including internal and external messaging.
• Handle media and public relations activities, including content writing, presenting, creating speeches, and working with stakeholders.
• Oversee corporate social media accounts and digital marketing strategies.
• Manage website content, branding initiatives, and re-branding efforts.
• Plan and execute strategies for in-person conferences and key events.

Requirements:
Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Applied Arts (or higher education).
• Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in Marketing Communications, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Bilingual: Proficient in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an articulate, polished presentation style.
• Collaborative and independent, capable of taking ownership of tasks and delivering solutions proactively.
• Comfortable working in a flat organizational structure and with small teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Drupal CMS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare or life sciences is an asset but not mandatory.
• Background in government and public relations is a strong advantage.

Non-Negotiables for the Role

• Proven 2 years of people management experience.
• Bilingual: Fluency in English and French is required.
• Hands-on experience with marketing communications strategy and media relations (content creation, presenting, stakeholder engagement).
• On-site availability in Mississauga 2 days per week.
• Adaptable, solutions-oriented professional who works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
