We\'re looking for a Manager, Learning to join our growing company and play a key role in our customer experience by ensuring each purchase ends in a smile!



As a Manager, Learning (ML) you will:

  • Partner with leaders and associates at all levels across the business to proactively assess learning needs and design, develop and deliver a variety of learning initiatives, projects and development programs throughout the organization (approximately 1,600 people strong).
  • Report to the Director, Organizational Development & Learning.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the role are articulated around three following pillars:

Learning and Development
  • Lead learning programs to support learner engagement and business needs through the design, development, delivery and evaluation of department-specific and organizational-wide learning;
  • Design and develop appropriate content and curriculum to close identified gaps and accelerate learning;
  • Manage learning programs end-to-end, including project plan creation, execution, and tracking of desired outcomes and results;
  • Ensure a robust communication plan to maximize adoption of the various learning programs, enabling a culture of continuous learning;
  • Facilitate learning programs and workshops using adult learning principles to deliver learning in a variety of environments (in-person, virtual, synchronous, asynchronous);
  • Shape the guidelines, standards, and expectations for the creation of learning materials to ensure uniformity across all internal learning offerings;
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners necessary for learning programs and initiatives;
  • Contribute to the sustainability of all organizational development activities.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Establish learning and development related KPIs;
  • Gather and report on established metrics to measure effectiveness of learning programs;
  • Leverage analytics to develop insights and inform learning strategies;
  • Monitor programs quantitatively and qualitatively to ensure they are effective, improve the learner experience and deliver value to the business;
  • Utilize learning platforms to maintain learning records, reports, evaluations and learning effectiveness measures.
External Research
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and methodologies and make recommendations based on findings.
Qualifications

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
  • Undergraduate degree in Learning/Human Resources/Organizational Development.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of similar or related experience, with exposure to content design for various audiences.
  • Strong communication skills, in both English and French, written and spoken.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and nurture good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
  • Judgment, initiative, and research/interviewing skills to find unique solutions to potentially complex problems.
  • Problem solving ability to identify the best course of action and create multiple solutions across multiple timelines.
  • Tact and persuasion to help reach agreements and influence positive outcomes.
  • Coaching certification and Learning and Development certification are assets.
