What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day HR administrative support for the Quebec region, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and recordkeeping.
Work closely with the HR team to manage CNESST-related compliance, reporting, and submissions, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
Translate HR policies, procedures, and communication materials to ensure consistent messaging across English and French audiences.
Serve as a key point of contact for branch teams and leaders, escalating more complex issues to the Senior HRBPs.
Support coordination of investigations, training activities, and policy rollout.
Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee files in accordance with internal and external standards.
Assist in local implementation of national HR programs and ensure documentation is accessible in both official languages.
Support employee engagement by ensuring French-speaking employees are informed and included in initiatives.
Build trust with employees and managers by responding promptly and professionally to HR-related questions, always handling sensitive information with care.
Support leaders in handling workplace dynamics with empathy and practical HR guidance, escalating complex issues to the Senior HRBPs as needed.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or generalist support role
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required
Strong understanding of Quebec employment legislation, including CNESST processes and reporting
Experience in translating professional documentation between French and English
Tech-savvy with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Organized, reliable, and capable of managing sensitive information with professionalism
Nice to Have
Experience in the construction, restoration, or insurance industry
Familiarity with HRIS systems and digital documentation tools
