Vous serez le premier point de contact pour les techniciens et nos clients en plus de vous assurer que les demandes soient traitees dans un delai raisonnable. Vous prendrez en charge tout probleme qui ne peut pas etre resolu dans les delais prescrits et signalerez l'incident a l'equipe appropriee, et en ferez le suivi jusqu'a sa resolution.


Emplacement :

Vous travaillerez au bureau de Montreal, selon un horaire de travail conciliant les presences au bureau et le travail a distance. Vous aurez egalement a vous deplacer chez nos clients pour supporter des installations.

Rediger les procedures techniques d'installations ou d'appels de service sur une multitude d'equipements electroniques Participer a l'installation sur site chez nos marchands Definit les enjeux et les tendances cles a partir de donnees partielles ou contradictoires, concilie ces informations et prepare des rapports periodiques Fournir des evaluations techniques des demandes de propositions Developper et maintenir une forte connaissance des systemes informatiques et des points de vente Informer les techniciens et techniciennes, ainsi que le personnel concerne des modifications apportees aux procedures ou a l'equipement et garder a jour la documentation technique qui explique en detail les produits et les procedures a l'aide de notes, de documents techniques Effectuer des recherches et des tests sur l'equipement electronique et informatique; cerner les problemes et les tendances cles et coordonner le flux d'information; preparer les rapports destines a etre revises par les gestionnaires

Votre profil - Votre carriere a Moneris

Etudes postsecondaires en electronique, en technologie de l'information ou domaine connexe (experience equivalente acceptee) Minimum de 4 ans dans un poste de technicien ou autre poste similaire. Maitrise de l'anglais et francais (lu, ecrit et parle). Permis de conduire provincial valide et acces a un vehicule personnel. Capacite a tester et a resoudre des problemes informatiques, de courriels, de reseau ou de terminaux de points de vente (PDV). Connaissance des ordinateurs, des reseaux, d'Internet et de Microsoft Office. Excellentes competences de communication et capacite a gerer calmement toute sorte de situations, qu'il s'agisse d'une situation routiniere ou d'une urgence. Adaptabilite aux horaires rotatifs, y compris les soirs, les fins de semaine et les jours feries

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a Field Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for technicians and clients, ensuring all inquiries and requests are responded to promptly. You will escalate incidents that cannot be resolved within the specified timeframes to the appropriate team and track it until resolution.


Location:

You will be based in our Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. You will also be required to travel onsite at our merchant's locations to support installation projects.


Reporting Relationship

: You will report to the Manager, Field Technical Support

Write technical procedures for installations or service calls on several electronic equipment. Provide onsite support for installations at our merchants' location Conduct research and test electronic and computer equipment; to identify main issues and patterns and coordinate information flow. Communicate modifications to procedures or equipment to technicians and staff, and maintain up-to-date technical documentation Provide technical evaluations for Requests For Proposal (RFPs) Perform administrative or specialized support tasks in office, field or retail store/site setting

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

Post-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution 4+ years experience as a technician in client service or relevant role Fluent in French and English (reading, writing and verbal) A valid provincial driver's license and your own vehicle Experience testing and solving issues relating to computing, network, or point of sale terminals (POS). Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts, internet usage, and Microsoft Office Efficient and calm when dealing with situations ranging from routine to emergency. Flexible for rotating schedules which includes evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance).
