What You'll Be Doing

The iCap Credit Processing Officer is responsible for preparing credit applications in iCap and inputting of financial statements in Credit Lenses (former MRA) and/or any other internal system for all types of credits not restricting to diversified, franchises, agriculture, professionals etc. The associate would be applying the knowledge of financial statements and basic credit principles to interpret and prepare credit shell in iCap as requested by the relationship teams in Commercial/ Business Banking. The incumbent may be required to contact relationship managers to seek clarification regarding any credit being processed as the case may be. This is a 12 month secondment position.

How You'll Succeed

Credit knowledge & Analysis - Knowledge and experience in internal CIBC systems and applications (CCMS, COINS, ECIF, Covarity, PostEdge and iCap)

Collaboration - Contact with internal CIBC departments (Risk Management) to seek clarification on any credit related issue or adopting of best/ acceptable practice on credits.

Compliance - Compliance with all CIBC regulatory training and ensure these programs and policies are applied consistently across the business. The incumbent is personally responsible for compliance with all such regulatory and governance programs.
