Job Description


JOB PURPOSEThe Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for assessing and reporting on new and existing customers, vendors and counterparty risk. Completing credit risk reporting, research and analysis on credit and counterparty risk issues and new financial programs that impact our business. Regular review and reporting on derivative positions, hedge effectiveness testing and exposures. Supporting insurance renewals and claims process._____________________________QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCEMonitor and report on the organization\xe2\x80\x99s performance against key risk metrics, policy limits and risk appetite as they relate to credit and counterparty credit risk.
Perform third party financial risk assessment, financial statement review and operational review (ie. Mine plan, production forecast, 43-101).
Conduct credit risk stress testing and associated calculations.
Accurately complete and submit credit and counterparty risk reports, as required.
Independently assess and analyze data, create comprehensive reports and data communication tools to provide guidance in credit risk analytics.
Develop and implement scenarios for existing and emerging risks that can be used in simulation exercises as part of a broader risk framework.
Collaborate with the various departments to develop assessment criteria, leading to the continuous improvement of policies, standards and procedures.
Work with counterparties/lawyers to review loan documentation, security and ensure adequate documentation and approvals
Analyze insurance requirements for loss payee on new arrangements
Filing security interests in different jurisdictions
Other risk related work as assigned

Education/ExperienceUndergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field.
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in a role related to credit and financial risk Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year Schedule:
