Position: Bilingual Communications Specialist

Location: Toronto, Hybrid (2+ in-office days/week)
Reports To: Manager, Public RelationsOur client is seeking a Bilingual Communications Specialist to lead French-language communications and PR initiatives, helping to strengthen their presence in Quebec and support cross-functional goals. This role blends strategy, creativity, and execution to produce compelling and high-quality content that engages francophone audiences.Youxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99ll write, edit, and manage a variety of French-language materialsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x94ranging from marketing collateral and member communications to event scripts and press releases. Youxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99ll help maintain the French broadcast email calendar, support social media efforts, contribute to web content, and advise on messaging strategies across departments.Youxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99ll also lead or support communication projects, oversee the translation process, and act as a French communications advisor within the organization. A strong understanding of Quebec media and cultural context, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.Qualifications:Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations3xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x935 years of experience in a French or bilingual communications roleExceptional writing and editing skills in FrenchBilingual (English/French) proficiency requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CMS, social media tools, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plusWork Environment:Hybrid work model with two required in-office days (Monday and Wednesday)Some travel and occasional overtime during peak periods
