The Learning Specialist works collaboratively and under the guidance of the Manager, Learning Facilitators and internal clients to design, deliver, maintain and evaluate training programs or modules.As a Bilingual Learning Specialist:You will conduct needs assessment / front-end analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to determine learning and performance gaps.\xe2\x80\x8bDevelop learning objectives based on learning and performance gaps.\xe2\x80\x8bDetermine best learning solutions (non-training or training) based on learning and performance gaps. \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bDeliver training events and learning solutions using all mediums including in-class, e-learning, virtual facilitation, and blended learning.\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bLead and manage learners in a mature, professional learning environment.\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bEvaluate learner application of skills and knowledge through observation, benchmarking and testing, to assess comprehension and adoption of knowledge to ensure successful job readiness transition\xe2\x80\x8bCollaborate with colleagues and program stakeholders to design and implement learning solutions & reinforcement tools that align business needs with training objectives.\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bCoordinate administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs (i.e. training schedules, communication, training reports, lessons learned, etc.)\xe2\x80\x8bMaintain training materials to ensure documentation is current and relevant given product & market changes and evolution.Recommend and implement enhancements to learning solutions to ensure constant improvementsQualifications:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in education, communications, instructional design, instructional technology, learning and development and/or related field required.Bilingual (English/French) requiredExperience with designing and developing training curriculum with multiple delivery methods, including instructor led, web based, audio and video.Knowledge of current trends and practices relating to Learning and Performance (i.e.. gamification, social learning, micro learning).Knowledge of Learning Management Systems or other database management systems.Knowledge of multimedia authoring tools would be an asset.Lean Six Sigma training is an asset.Design thinking training is an asset.Project Management skills preferred.Why Join TELUS Health:Benefit plan tailored to your individual or family needs from day oneGenerous paid time off policy for vacation, wellbeing, and professional developmentCareer growth opportunitiesPension plan with 100% company matchingOne volunteering day/year to support a cause important to youWork culture promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and access to quality careA bit about usWe\xe2\x80\x99re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
