JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the day to day activities of a team of nurses. Additional responsibilities include education and training of new team members, process development and improvement across Canada, and ensuring team performance by reviewing weekly and monthly KPI targets. Acts as the main contact for all escalations on the team and provides timely resolutions and responses to operational inquiries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Oversees the Nursing team to ensure all program performance expectations are sustained and monitored.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure all team members are educated on the program, and all performance standards for the team are met or exceeded.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure all regional operational occurrences associated with the program are communicated to the Program Manager.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure workload measures meet performance targets and recommend changes if they do not meet targets.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are within performance expectations.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure hiring and orientation processes are sufficient to support program needs.
\xc2\xb7 Facilitates recruitment, orientation, evaluation and retention of staff.
\xc2\xb7 Conducts Quality Audits to assure accuracy of workflows and client-specific processes.
\xc2\xb7 Participates in and/or conducts clinical related calls.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure quality of clinical records is maintained.
\xc2\xb7 Attends internal and external meetings with the client
\xc2\xb7 Assistance with billing and forecasting
\xc2\xb7 Complete and/or assistance in annual evaluations
\xc2\xb7 Validate quality of PV reports.
\xc2\xb7 Assistance with billing and forecasting

\xc2\xb7 Ensures ad hoc requests and special projects from the client, program portfolio manager, and outside stakeholders are performed in a timely manner.
\xc2\xb7 Identifies, documents, implements, and monitors process improvements and enhancements.
\xc2\xb7 Facilitates the interdisciplinary team development of action plan(s) to improve clinical and administrative processes including: Validating accuracy of data, Ensuring proper certification/recertification procedures are in place, Ensuring client-driven KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are monitored and adhered to.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
\xc2\xb7 Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse (RN/RPN) License
\xc2\xb7 Current registration/licensing with the provincial regulating body of residence
\xc2\xb7 At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in people-management
\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership skills
\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and project management skills with implementation
\xc2\xb7 Pharmaceutical program experience strongly recommended
\xc2\xb7 Must be able to identify and report AE\xe2\x80\x99s to health Canada, Med Info and enter into source system and third party systems
\xc2\xb7 Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Suite of products (minimum intermediate level Excel, Word, Power Point)
\xc2\xb7 Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
\xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and motivational drive for conflict and resolution
\xc2\xb7 Experience with AE/SAE/PC reporting
\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and project management skills
\xc2\xb7 Ability to lead and direct projects and project teams
\xc2\xb7 Experience with evaluating and enhancing processes and large programs
\xc2\xb7 Travelling will be required as needed
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience with project management and implementation
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with PIPEDA and how it applies in a confidential patient environment.
