Behaviour Interventionist
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic BI to join our team. You would be supporting a 3 year old boy in a daycare setting, managed by a BCBA from Constructive Pathways. We are looking for someone who has previous experience and would be willing to commit for a minimum of 1-year.
The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in ABA or a related field (e.g., Education, Psychology, ECE, Linguistics). However, those seeking to gain experience and develop a career working with children with disabilities are also encouraged to apply. Sessions will be held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays/Fridays 9-11 am.
Location is in Richmond near Shell Road and Cambie Road.
Wage is depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Undergo a criminal record check.
- Agree to a 1-year minimum commitment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a reliable form of transportation.
- Have reliable attendance to all scheduled sessions.
- Have patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Able to provide at least 2 references.
Part-time hours: 4 per week Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations:
