BI Needed - North Vancouver

Posting on behalf of my client:

We are looking for a behaviour interventionist (BI) to implement home based ABA programs focusing on social skills, academics and communication skills. You would be working 1:1 with the student either in the home or during playdates.

No experience necessary - training and supervision will be provided by Sarah Dungait (BCBA).

This is a great opportunity for those studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and other related disciplines.

Applicants must:

Be fun and engaging!
Motivated to learn.
Be at least 19yrs old.
Have a clear criminal record check.
Be reliable.
Be willing to commit to 12-months minimum.

Here is a little info about the team:

Upper Lonsdale Area:

> You would be working with a fun 8yr old Autistic boy primarily supporting him with academic, regulation and social skills.

> Sessions are 1.5hrs.

> Looking to cover 2x after-school sessions per week.

> Potential for increased hours during the summer months, with flexibility to match your availability.

Please note intervention is delivered in person. There are no options for remote sessions for this client.

Compensation will be based on experience.
