Behaviour Interventionists Needed - North & West Vancouver (North Shore)

We are looking for
Behaviour Interventionists (BIs)
to support children in home- and preschool-based programs. Each program is designed to nurture
social connection, executive functioning, regulation, communication, and academic skills
in ways that are engaging and affirming.
You will work 1:1 with children, either at home or in preschool settings.
No previous experience is required
- all training and supervision will be provided by
Sarah Dungait, BCBA

This is a
fantastic opportunity
for students in
Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and related fields
to gain meaningful hands-on experience. Our teams are collaborative, and you'll have opportunities to connect with and learn from a wide range of professionals.
Applicants must be:
Fun, engaging, and creative with kids
Motivated to learn and open to feedback
At least 19 years old
Able to provide a clear criminal record check
Reliable and committed for at least 12 months
Current Opportunities
Lower Lonsdale Area
Support a sweet 7-year-old Autistic boy with communication, academics, regulation, and social skills.
Student is an emerging speaker and eager to learn.
Sessions: 1.5-2 hrs, 2-3 afternoons per week.
Potential for more hours during summer.
Grand Boulevard Area
Work with an energetic and fun 8-year-old Autistic boy with a PDA profile.
Focus on relationship-building and flexibility; learning happens through play, creativity, and low-demand approaches.
Sessions: 2 hrs, 1-2 afternoons per week.
May expand to support sibling in future.
Deep Cove / Seymour Area
Support a newly diagnosed 3-year-old Autistic boy.
Focus: building joint attention, functional communication, and engagement in preschool routines.
Home and preschool settings.
Preferred: 3x 2 hr morning sessions per week (except Tuesday).
West Vancouver
Support an 8-year-old girl in social skills, academics, and executive functioning.
Pickup from school required (full driver's license + vehicle needed).
Sessions at home, with opportunities to also engage her younger brother (5) in play and social communication.
Important Notes
All sessions are
in-person only
(no remote options).
Compensation is based on experience.
