Behaviour Clinician

to join our dynamic clinical team in delivering compassionate, evidence-based services that promote positive behavioural outcomes and overall well-being.

Reporting directly to the Clinical Supervisor, the Behaviour Clinician is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure client-centered care.

What You'll Do:



Client Assessment & Treatment Planning



Conduct comprehensive Practical Behaviour Assessments (PBAs) and manage client intake. Develop and implement Personalized Treatment Plans (PTPs) and protocols in collaboration with the clinical team. Adjust intervention strategies based on ongoing assessments and progress. Provide direct intervention and model behavioural techniques when necessary.

Client & Family Support



Educate families and caregivers on behavioural strategies and intervention techniques. Conduct training sessions to support implementation of treatment plans. Advocate for clients' needs in a multidisciplinary care environment.

Program Development & Quality Assurance



Design and implement evidence-based assessments and interventions. Oversee data collection and analysis to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Ensure treatment data is organized and interpreted in compliance with organizational standards.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, session notes, and reports. Monitor treatment fidelity and provide insights for program improvements. Adhere strictly to privacy laws and ethical documentation practices.

Crisis Management & Problem Solving



Respond to crisis situations using appropriate de-escalation strategies. Develop and implement risk management plans. Provide emergency behavioural support as needed.

Collaboration & Professional Development



Participate in regular supervision and team meetings. Deliver Behaviour Skills Training (BST) to Behaviour Technicians and support staff. Contribute to a collaborative, supportive clinical environment.

What We're Looking For:



Experience in behaviour analysis or a related clinical field (preferred). Proven ability to conduct behavioural assessments and implement evidence-based treatment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Compassionate and client-centered approach to care. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Flexible and willing to adjust hours to meet client needs. Commitment to continuous professional development. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, email, and cloud-based systems. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout New Brunswick to support clients in various settings (home, school, community).

Requirements:



Clear criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and social development check. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract. Valid vehicle registration and insurance with at least $1,000,000 liability coverage. Bachelor's degree Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
