Island Glass Ltd in Hamilton, BERMUDA is seeking a skilled Bathroom Enclosure, Mirror , Glass Installer to RE LOCATE to the Island of BERMUDA and join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and service of Bathroom Enclosures, Mirrors and glass products, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. The position requires meeting with and advising clients on Glass Shower Enclosure options as well as Mirror and Glass Products ( Shelves, Table Tops etc). The successful applicant must be articulate, speak perfect English, and be able to meet with high end clients, discuss options with shower enclosures and mirror work, and measure for quoting/ ordering, in the event that it is a mirror job- lay out, and cut the mirrors, do the edge work, cut out holes, etc..... plus do the installation.
Responsibilities
Installation, service, and repair of Bathroom Enclosures, Mirrors and glass products (glass shelves, Table Tops, etc..) .
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation specifications as well taking measurements for ordering and installation.
Ensure proper handling of Glass Enclosures, Mirrors, and glass materials to prevent damage during transportation to site as well as storage on site and during the installation process.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Perform maintenance/ and service work on installed products to ensure longevity and performance.
Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Minimum 5 years experience Measuring, Installing and Servicing Glass Shower Enclosures, Mirrors and Glass Products
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing glass installations effectively.
Must be neat, tidy, organized and articulate and be able to work well with others.
Ability to lift.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for quality outcomes.
Mechanically minded.
Must speak and Read English
