Magest Building Systems is hiring! We are currently seeking a Batch Plant Operator for our structural steel wall panel and truss assembly plant. Magest is locally owned and operated with strong ties to Stratford and surrounding communities. We are gearing up to grow the business and we want you to be part of that growth and success.

The Batch Plant Operator is responsible to ensure that proper mix/material is delivered to the plant accurately and in a timely manner. The role will also support with the management and ordering of inventory items.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, procurement and the production team.

Responsibilities

Duties

Operation and monitoring of the control room and concrete mixer Loading of aggregate bins and managing inventory levels Ensuring raw materials are at a proper state for production requirements Preparing batches in a timely manner to ensure delivery schedule is met Make adjustments to recipes and processes as required Clean all operating and delivery equipment on a daily basis Conduct daily inspections of facilities and equipment Must be able to work in all weather elements Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

Qualifications:

2 or more years of batch plant experience is preferred Experience operating heavy equipment (front end loader) Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills Good understanding of the raw materials and finished goods (Concrete) Demonstrates initiative, conscientiousness, and complete follow-through on responsibilities Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills (oral and written) High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and data visualization tools.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
