JCL Investments is a leading provider of high-quality concrete and precast products, committed to excellence in safety and service. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Batch Plant Operator to join our team in Conception Bay South. This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the batch plant. This includes the safe and efficient mixing of concrete, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate batching equipment to produce concrete according to specified mix designs. Monitor and adjust mix proportions to ensure quality and consistency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment. Maintain accurate records of production, materials, and inventory. Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and quality control teams. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational policies. Keep the plant clean, organized, and in good working condition.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete batching or a similar role. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with batching systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and mix designs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license.
