Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, whether in a Casual fine dining restaurant, pub or cocktail lounge. Subsidized Staff housing is available for full time employees.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to brand standards & recipes and customer preferences Provide Great Hospitality by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations Operate POS systems such as Squirrel for order processing and payment transactions Manage cash handling procedures accurately while adhering to company policies Assist in inventory management Demonstrate knowledge and skills in cocktail preparation

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in fine dining, pub or cocktail lounge Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus
